Modern Elegant White Wedding in Greece, Athenian Riviera
A beautiful bride and a charming groom, a love story, a couple who come from rainy London to live the ultimate wedding experience in Greece, by the sea. Nothing stopped them, not even the war between Ukraine and Russia which forced them to postpone their wedding plans for a year. Beloved friends, but above all, the adored family was by their side and they celebrated, danced, and laughed until the morning. Love conquers everything. Even wars, even distances. Iana looked amazing in her Pronovias wedding dress with a tight fit that hugged her gorgeous body. Details on the bodice created a bow that made it unique. Paired great with a veil and Vera Wang elbow-length gloves for a more sophisticated look. Her Aquazzura shoes combined great with this outfit.
For this modern and classy wedding in Greece, Vicky Galata Weddings & Events chose white elegant flowers in combination with earthy shades of soft brown, beige, and creme. The shades remained the same from the invitations to the art de la table and flowers for a cohesive outcome. White ceramic vases were used as a base for an extra modern touch. Gold detail as a base for the white taper candles that burned all night completed the design, by reflecting the entire setting as well as our flower arrangement.
Dinner was a 3 courses sophisticated menu created by Dipnosophistirion. Mediterranean flavors were chosen to offer guests a Greek experience they will remember forever. The signature cocktails were based on Gin, which is the couple’s favorite drink and they always want to try flavors based on this drink.
The wedding cake was designed in a simple white, modern line and decorated with white orchids. The flavor was vanilla combined with buttercream, a classic and wonderful version. The vision was for the guests to feel the Greek aura from space by the sea and that’s why they chose to have the dinner set up outside to Island Athens Riviera venue. The full moon and the breathtaking sea view were amazing and the ambiance was unique. This modern, elegant wedding in Greece provided an unforgettable Greek experience for all who traveled from all over the world, especially from Ukraine, to witness our sweet couple’s union.
